Living Among the Giants: Launching a Survey of ASEAN Peoples' Perceptions on China, India, Japan, and the USA
Pada tahun 2023, FPCI bekerja sama dengan ERIA mengadakan survei di kawasan bertajuk “Survey of ASEAN Peoples' Perceptions on China, India, Japan, and the USA”.
Setelah finalisasi laporan survei dan tiga bulan pendistribusian kuesioner ke seluruh negara anggota ASEAN, termasuk Timor-Leste, sesi panel di CIFP 2023 ini hadir sebagai wadah untuk membahas dan menyajikan hasil survei ini kepada khalayak luas. Sesi ini akan menggali lebih dalam temuan-temuan utama dalam survei, memberikan wawasan tentang bagaimana persepsi masyarakat Asia Tenggara terhadap Tiongkok, India, Jepang, dan Amerika Serikat. Diskusi ini akan mengeksplorasi pentingnya persepsi-persepsi ini, mengapa persepsi tersebut penting, dan implikasi apa yang dapat diantisipasi dari hasil survei.
In 2023, FPCI, in collaboration with ERIA, conducted a regional survey titled “Survey of ASEAN Peoples' Perceptions on China, India, Japan, and the USA”.
After three months during which respondents across all ASEAN member countries, plus Timor-Leste, replied to a questionnaire, the findings of the survey have been put together in a report. Accordingly, a special panel session at CIFP 2023 has been organized as venue for unveiling and presenting the survey results to the broader public. The session will delve into the key findings of the survey, providing insights into how Southeast Asians perceive China, India, Japan, and the USA. The discussion will explore the significance of these perceptions, why they matter, and what further geopolitical insights may be gleaned from the survey results.
